Voice Mail gives you the services of an answering machine without power failure and in some exchanges it takes calls while your line is busy, so you don't miss any important calls. DTE has staff on hand that can help design the right Voice Mail options to fit your home or business needs. Voice Mail also has a voice prompt to guide through the service options.

How To Log Into Your Mailbox From Home

  • Dial 455-4567

  • Enter your security code (Your Phone Number is Default)

How To Log Into Your Mailbox Remotely

  • Dial 455-4567

  • Enter your mailbox number [(307) plus your phone number]

  • Press [ # ] during your greeting

  • Enter your security code (Your Phone Number is Default)

Recording Your Personal Greeting

  • Log into your mailbox

  • Press [9] for greetings menu (see below for complete options/instructions)

  • Press [1] to record your greeting. Press [4] to start recording, finish by pressing [#]

  • Press [1] to play your greeting

  • To rerecord your greeting press [4], end the recording by pressing [#]

  • To delete your greeting press [3].

  • When you are satisfied with your recording, press [2] or [*] to keep your greeting and return to mailbox setup.
